The following order guidelines apply to order placed through both Brettell Brothers Ltd and our mail order company Gates Railings Direct.  

When you place your order we will let you know how long it will take to make your products. Order to delivery times are dependent upon a number of factors mainly driven by your choice of finish but can also include:

• Complexity of your chosen design
• The size of your order
• Availability of the components required to create your design, for example some bespoke designs may require hand forged components and these are special order items with our foundry supplier.  The lead time for these to be forged is around three weeks
• The shipping destination
• The finish you have chosen i.e. primer, powder coated, hot dip galvanized or hot dip galvanized and powder coated, see below

The following lead times are for guidance only and are calculated from the date you confirm your order:

• Standard Matte Black Paint (primer/undercoat) –  Four weeks
• Powder Coated Finish – Six to seven weeks for black, bespoke colours may take  longer
• Hot Dip Galvanized – Six to seven weeks
• Hot Dip Galvanized and Powder Coated – Eight to ten weeks for black powder coating, bespoke colours may take longer
